New Delhi: With the festival season losing its shine, the prices of precious metals have dropped significantly. In just a few days, gold and silver prices have seen a sharp decline due to the strong dollar and pressure in global markets. Gold has dropped to nearly ₹12,000 per 10 grams and silver to ₹36,000 per kilogram. Now the question arises: is this a buying opportunity or is there more decline to come?
This is a correction, not a warning, according to market experts. The strong dollar, international profit-taking, and global trade talks are the cause of this pressure. It’s believed that prices may dip slightly further in the near future – possibly to around ₹1.15 lakh – but in the long run, both gold and silver are expected to rise again.
