Recently, fans of Gothic noticed some alterations in the remake that raised concerns. For some reason, the famous painting in Gomez’s throne room featuring nude women disappeared.
Other female characters also underwent changes, with revealing outfits being replaced by more modest attire. This led to outrage within the community, as players expressed their discontent on the Gothic 1 Remake forum on Steam, accusing the developers of censorship.
Some discussions were closed off, and now the community manager of Gothic, T-Moor, has issued a response.
