Sports commentator Dmitry Guberniev commented on the news that Deyan Stankovich has left the position of head coach of the Moscow football club Spartak. He shared his thoughts in his Telegram channel. According to Guberniev, such a decision should have been made earlier. ‘After two victories, couldn’t this have been done sooner? This is not a circus, folks, it’s a cheap show. Such decisions should be made earlier, but now it looks strange and foolish,’ he said. On November 11, it became known that Stankovich had left the club. Spartak’s management stated that they were displeased with the club’s results and that the decision for Stankovich’s resignation was mutually agreed upon. The 47-year-old Stankovich had been in charge of Spartak since May 2024. Last season, under the leadership of the Serbian coach, the club finished in fourth place in the RPL standings.
