In Amritsar, Delhi Gurdwara Committee President Harmeet Singh Kalka and General Secretary Sacttar Jagdeep Kahlon announced that 170 devotees had applied for visas to visit Pakistan in honor of the birth anniversary of the first Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. They encouraged all the devotees to collect their passports from the committee’s office.
Kalka and Kahlon explained that earlier this year, the Indian government had imposed restrictions on traveling to Pakistan for Gurpurab celebrations. However, the Delhi Gurdwara Committee’s appeal was successful, allowing the devotees to travel. All 170 applicants received their visas and can now gather their passports from the committee’s office.
Pakistan’s government set a deadline of November 4 for entry into the country, while the Indian government aimed for devotees to enter Pakistan by November 3. This final decision will be made within a couple of days, with the entire visit lasting 10 days, before the devotees return to India.
The son of former MP Mahinder Singh K.P., who was the main suspect in his son’s death, surrendered himself. The request for temporary structures for Gurpurab celebrations was approved, allowing devotees to collect their passports from the committee’s office.
In a tragic incident, six devotees lost their lives and more than 10 were injured when a pick-up truck overturned. Japanese PM was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for trade agreements. These daily items are detrimental to our health slowly, affecting our well-being. It will now be even more challenging to pass the English language test for British visas.
