Gus Yahya meets PWNU Leaders in Indonesia, Agrees on This Matter

PBNU General Chair, KH Yahya Cholil Staquf or Gus Yahya, met with PWNU leaders in Surabaya on Saturday evening. The meeting, which lasted around six hours, concluded in the early hours of Sunday at 01.00 AM. After the meeting, Gus Yahya stated that he was there to explain the dynamics within PBNU, particularly following demands for his resignation. ‘Tonight we held a meeting with representatives from PWNU across Indonesia. I explained the recent discussions, and PWNU now has a complete understanding of everything,’ Gus Yahya said in Surabaya on Sunday morning. He confirmed that he had provided all explanations to the attending PWNU leaders. Thus, Gus Yahya encouraged PWNU throughout Indonesia to coordinate internally regarding the PBNU Syuriah Daily Meeting Resolutions.
