Haddad warns that anti-faction bill report will open doors for organized crime in the country

The Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, endorsed on Tuesday (11) the criticisms made by representatives of the federal government and the Federal Police against the report elaborated by Deputy Guilherme Derrite (PP-SP) on the anti-faction bill. According to Haddad, the current version of the opinion ‘will open doors for organized crime’ and represents a threat to operations in progress in the country. ‘I wasn’t even going to talk [about the project], but I just read the report from the Federal Revenue Service. It’s not possible that two years of work against organized crime will be put at risk,’ he told journalists at the ministry’s headquarters. The project is being processed in the Chamber and could be voted on later this week.
