Heavy rain has been affecting Gujarat for the past two days, leading to several incidents in Amreli such as 6 inches of rainfall causing casualties in Rajula. Due to heavy rainfall, the Dhatarwadi river in Amreli overflowed, affecting many villages. A woman facing childbirth complications had to be rushed to the hospital due to the water level rising. With no vehicles available, she was taken to the hospital in a JCB for immediate assistance, along with 50 laborers trapped in flooded fields.
