In São Paulo, authorities are investigating a group that used cleaning staff from VIP lounges for drug trafficking at Guarulhos Airport. The storm that hit the city also left 1.5 million properties without electricity and resulted in the cancellation of 26 flights. The effects of the strong winds extended to other airports across Brazil, with delays and cancellations being registered in Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, Natal, Campo Grande, and Goiânia.
