Highest Harmony Index in Indonesia Throughout History, Minister of Religious Affairs Appreciates Achievement

Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar delivered some uplifting news regarding religious harmony in Indonesia. During the Harmony Award 2025 ceremony in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on Friday (28/11/2025), Menag mentioned that this year, Indonesia has reached its highest harmony index in history. ‘We are currently at the highest harmony index year in the history of Indonesia. We must be grateful to God, as well as being responsible for preserving this harmony,’ Nasaruddin Umar said. Nasaruddin emphasized that unity is impossible without harmony, and harmony cannot be achieved without the willingness to accept differences. He stressed the importance of understanding the true meaning of tolerance.
