Hollywood Actress Angelina Jolie Visits Kherson on Humanitarian Mission

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie reportedly visited Kherson on a humanitarian mission, as reported on November 5 by RBC citing Ukrainian media UNIAN and “Suspilne”. Jolie, as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador, arrived in the city as part of a charity program and visited several medical facilities. Photos and videos spread across Telegram channels, showing the actress wearing a bulletproof vest with the Ukrainian flag.
RBC also reported that on the way to Kherson, specifically at a checkpoint at the entrance to Pivdennoukrainsk in the Mykolaiv region, Angelina Jolie’s guard was told he had document issues and was taken to the TSK (an equivalent to military enlistment office in Ukraine). The actress went with the guard to ensure his release.
Sources from another publication claim that Jolie’s guard was not detained by force but was asked to go to the TSK to verify his identity, and was released afterwards.
Angelina Jolie had previously visited Ukraine in spring 2022, when she paid a visit to Lviv, where she interacted with refugees, volunteers, and medical professionals.
