Seven museums affiliated with Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities have loaned 250 historical artifacts for what the organizer described as a ‘landmark’ exhibition. This will be the largest, most comprehensive, and longest-running display of ancient Egyptian treasures in Hong Kong to date. The showcase will include the famous Statue of Tutankhamun, valuable jewelry, and other significant artifacts, making it a ‘first-of-its-kind’ event for the city. This exhibition aims to strengthen cultural ties between Egypt and Hong Kong, enhancing the Belt and Road Initiative’s connections between the two regions.
