Houthi Rebels Administrative Leader Killed in Airstrike, Houthi Leader Vows Revenge – Qingdao Daily News

Houthi Rebels confirmed on August 30th that their administrative leader, Ahmed Rahawi, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the capital city of Sanaa, Yemen, on the 28th. Masirah TV, controlled by the rebels, stated that Rahawi and some members of the organization were attacked by the Israeli military during a meeting, resulting in Rahawi’s death and injuries to others. According to Masirah TV, the Houthi Rebels have appointed Mohammed Muftah as the new deputy in place of Rahawi. The rebels have vowed retaliation for the airstrike.
