President Putin’s first day in China was marked by important meetings. He met with President Xi Jinping and engaged in talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. After the bilateral meeting with Pashinyan, President Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov arrived at the hotel. Peskov commented on the meeting, saying, ‘It was a very good, lengthy conversation. They spoke face to face.’ The meeting was followed by a formal dinner hosted by President Xi Jinping.
