Hyderabad Metro Expansion: Key Decision Expected in March, Center Minister’s Crucial Statement

Center Minister Manohar Lal Khattar revealed that the central and state governments are considering sharing funds on a 50:50 basis for the expansion of Hyderabad Metro, with proposals for new 160 km metro lines currently under review, and a decision expected in March. Further inspections are also underway for metro projects in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and potential funding for Amaravati development. The Hyderabad metro rail project is being discussed to be completed with a shared financial contribution by the central and state governments.
