President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have come together to propose a 20-point plan to bring an end to the Gaza war and release hostages. However, this plan’s success hinges on conditions that Hamas has already rejected. Despite this, Trump is optimistic, believing that Hamas is weakened and eventually will agree to the terms. Both Qatar and Egypt are currently reviewing the proposal, while the Palestinian government and some Arab leaders have voiced their support. Nevertheless, tension in the region persists.
