IIM Ahmedabad, known as the number 1 management institute in India, has been experiencing a decline in international placements for the past few years. In 2011, 26 students and in 2012, 30 students from IIM-A received job offers in countries outside India. However, this year the number has dropped significantly, with only 2 students securing jobs abroad. The international job opportunities for IIM students have reduced, especially in countries like the USA, UK, Germany, Russia, Canada, and Europe.
