India and China to Support Each Other’s BRICS Summits in 2026 and 2027 Amid Trump’s Tariff Threats

In a significant move showcasing unity, India and China have decided to back each other in organizing the BRICS Summits in 2026 and 2027. This agreement comes as a gesture of thawing relations between the two countries, which had been strained since the 2020 Galwan clashes. The decision was announced following a visit by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to New Delhi, where he held discussions with top Indian officials, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval. The talks focused on crucial issues such as border stability, counter-terrorism efforts, trade relations, and regional concerns.
