India and Indonesia Strengthen Defence Ties, Advance BrahMos Talks

India and Indonesia evaluated their defense partnership during the third Defense Ministers’ Dialogue in New Delhi. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and his Indonesian counterpart, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, focused on bolstering bilateral defense ties and identifying new areas of collaboration. While BrahMos was not officially mentioned in the statement, senior officials hinted at progress regarding the potential export of the missile system to Indonesia.
