India vs Australia T20: Series Final Match Win Will Boost Morale, but Gabba Record Will Worry the Serious Ones

In the ongoing T20 series, India is ahead with a 2-1 lead after the first four matches. The first match was washed out due to rain, followed by a win for Australia in the second match. India then won the third and fourth matches, leading the series. The final T20 match of the series will be held in Brisbane on November 8th. Despite being ahead in the series, India’s record in Brisbane is not very promising. The team has only played one T20 match there so far. Back in 2018, under Virat Kohli’s captaincy, India suffered a defeat by four runs at that very match. It was also a rain-curtailed game where Australia lost 4 wickets for 158 runs in 17 overs. Glenn Maxwell top-scored with 46 runs. Due to the DLS method, the target was adjusted to 174 runs. In response, India lost 7 wickets, scoring 169 runs. Shikhar Dhawan played an innings of 76 runs.
