Indonesia Advocate for Fair Music Royalty on the World Stage

The Indonesian government is actively advocating for the rights of creators and musicians at the international level. Through a socialization meeting entitled ‘Indonesian Proposal on Governance of Copyright Royalty,’ the Ministry of Creative Economy (Kemenekraf) along with several stakeholders discussed the importance of fair royalty distribution in the music industry. The proposal was submitted to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and is seen as a significant move in promoting fair treatment of artists globally.
