Indonesia and Malaysia Strengthen Cooperation in Research and Higher Education

The Indonesian Higher Education, Science, and Technology Ministry recently met with the Malaysian Embassy to boost collaboration in higher education and research within ASEAN countries. Minister Brian Yuliarto emphasized the significance of this partnership in promoting university relations and fostering ASEAN cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations. The agenda prioritized the establishment of a joint research group focused on areas such as AI, renewable energy, and rare earth management, aiming to produce applied research that addresses global challenges. This collaboration seeks to strengthen Indonesia and Malaysia as innovation centers in the ASEAN region.
