The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) has successfully developed the National Fish Traceability and Logistics System (STELINA). The implementation of GDST standards on STELINA shows that Indonesia has successfully adopted global standards. Foreign seafood commodity markets are now demanding more transparency in the supply chain. GDST is an international protocol collaboratively developed by various stakeholders in the global fishing industry. This standard establishes parameters and Key Data Elements (KDE) formats that must be met for traceability systems to be recognized globally, such as catch location, fishing methods, vessel permits, landing data, and certification.
