The intense impact of monsoon rains has caused Warangal and Hanamkonda to face heavy rainfall without respite. Many streets are now flooded with rainwater, bringing relief to the drought-stricken regions. The Mayor of Warangal, Gunda Sujatha, mentioned that 45 areas within the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation limits are now submerged in water, leading to the initiation of relief efforts like distributing food, providing temporary shelters, and ensuring safety measures. Disaster Response Force, the Sanitation Department, and seven special teams were deployed to assist in relief efforts.
