The rebels in Yemen, backed by Iran, have escalated tensions by raiding United Nations offices in the capital city of Sanaa. This aggressive move came in response to an attack by Israel that resulted in the death of the Houthi prime minister and several Cabinet members. Abeer Etefa, a spokesperson for the World Food Program, confirmed that security forces conducted raids on various UN agency offices in Sanaa on Sunday morning. Additionally, offices of the World Health Organization and UNICEF were also targeted in the raid, as revealed by U.N. and Houthi officials speaking anonymously due to media restrictions.
