Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin finally met. According to CCTV News, on August 15th, local time, Trump and Putin held talks at Fort Greely in Anchorage, Alaska in the United States. The meeting lasted about 2 hours and 40 minutes. This US-Russia summit is significant in many ways: it is the first face-to-face meeting between the leaders of the two countries since 2021, the first meeting between Trump and Putin since 2019, and the first time Putin has set foot on US soil since 2015.
