Karur CBI Investigation: 306 People Fined, 15 Injured! Intensified Probe Underway

In connection with the Karur group violence, 15 CBI officials conducted the probe. On September 27th, during the visit of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay Parappur to Karur, 41 people lost their lives in the group violence that occurred. As per the High Court ruling, CBI is conducting an investigation regarding the Karur group violence. Over two days, a massive seizure was conducted in Velusamipuram, uncovering illegal firearms through joint inspections. This led to the imposition of fines on 306 individuals including families of the deceased, business owners, and survivors in the Velusamipuram area.
