Kerala Weather Update: Possibility of Heavy Rainfall with Thunderstorm Today and Tomorrow

In the next 3 hours, only Thrissur and Malappuram districts in Kerala will experience an orange alert. According to the Central Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorm in isolated places in Kerala today (27/10/2025) and tomorrow, with wind speeds ranging from 40 to 50 kilometers per hour during the day.

The Central Meteorological Department has issued a forecast for heavy rain in the next 5 days. Alerts for orange and yellow have been announced in various districts.

Districts have issued an orange alert from the Central Meteorological Department. There is a possibility of extremely heavy rainfall, with amounts ranging from 115.6 mm to 204.4 mm in 24 hours, indicating very heavy rainfall, prompting the Central Meteorological Department to take action.”
