North Korean leader Kim Jong-un hinted that he is willing to engage in dialogue with the United States if they stop insisting on his country abandoning nuclear weapons. According to the official North Korean media, KCNA reported that Kim Jong-un stated in his speech at the Supreme People’s Assembly held in Pyongyang on Sunday: “If the U.S. abandons its absurd obsession with our denuclearization, accepts reality, and hopes to achieve genuine peaceful coexistence, then we have no reason not to sit down and talk with the U.S.”
