Kunhiraman Turns ‘Sagarakanya’ Statue Into Controversial Artwork

Thiruvananthapuram: Renowned artist Kunhiraman has turned his ‘Sagarakanya’ sculpture into a controversial artwork by creating a distorted image in a billboard located in the city. The famous sculpture of ‘Sagarakanya’ was reproduced and distorted without permission for use in a billboard in the city. The advertisement board was removed following protests from various quarters against the unauthorized usage and distortion of the artwork. Kunhiraman, the original sculptor, expressed his disappointment and disapproval of the unauthorized use of his creation in the controversial artwork.
