Kushner to attend Putin and Uitkof meeting

Moscow, December 2nd. INTERFAX.RU – Jared Kushner, Donald Trump’s son-in-law, will be present at the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Uitkof, scheduled for Tuesday, as announced by Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov. ‘As we have already mentioned, the Russian-American meeting will start after 5:00 PM.’ Putin will receive Mr. Uitkof at the Kremlin – the main US negotiator on Ukrainian affairs – who will be accompanied by Jared Kushner,’ he told reporters. Peskov clarified who else, besides Uitkof and Kushner, will take part in the talks. ‘No, there will be no one else from the American side,’ he said. ‘Just the interpreter,’ Peskov added. Journalists asked how much time would be allocated for the meeting. ‘As much as necessary,’ the Kremlin representative replied.
