The cybercrime police in Telangana have taken action against the biggest cinema piracy gang in the country, revealing a loss of Rs 3,700 crore to the Telugu film industry. The gang was involved in pirating hit movies like ‘Singil’ and ‘Hit’. CV Anand, the main accused in the piracy of hit movies, was identified by the police. He used high-end smartphone cameras to record movies in theaters, storing gadgets in his pockets.
