Botafogo may have to deal with yet another obstacle when facing LDU in Quito on Thursday for the round of 16 second leg of the Libertadores. According to journalist Pedro Dep from ‘Canal Visitante,’ there was heavy fireworks set off outside the hotel where the alvinegro delegation is staying. ‘The fireworks show doesn’t stop. It started at 2 AM, local time, and there has been no peace for an hour. I hope the Botafogo hotel window is a bit thicker. It was like New Year’s Eve in Copacabana. It was very intense,’ described Pedro Dep on Instagram.
