He explained that the accident occurred while trying to siphon fuel through the hose – something he had done before. ‘I pulled and it didn’t come, but then I lowered the hose, anyone who has done this knows, and the gasoline stayed there in the middle of the way. So I went and gave a big pull on the hose and ended up ingesting and choking on this gasoline,’ he recounted. After experiencing difficulty breathing, Leandro sought medical attention immediately.
