Liechtensteinische Landesbank (LLB) is withdrawing from the United Arab Emirates and will refer its Gulf clients to Rothschild & Co, the two firms said in separate statements on Tuesday. This decision marks LLB’s departure from the Gulf market, with Rothschild & Co set to take over servicing the bank’s clients in the region. Both LLB and Rothschild emphasized the importance of a smooth transition for the affected clients.
