LIVE: Rahul Gandhi’s Press Conference on ‘Vote Theft’ Controversy

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has intensified his attack on the government and electoral commission, accusing them of ‘vote theft’ by manipulating voter lists. After leveling serious allegations in a previous press conference, he is hosting another important press conference today to elaborate on this issue with new claims.

Rahul Gandhi’s main accusation is that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign conducted by the election commission is removing names of millions of voters, especially from marginalized communities, from voter lists across the country. Gandhi is labeling this process as ‘vote theft’ orchestrated by the ruling party.

In previous press conferences, Rahul Gandhi had targeted the government for alleged discrepancies. He had cited an example from Karnataka where a private agency allegedly gathered data and removed thousands of names of Congress supporters from voter lists. He demanded immediate halt to the SIR process and thorough investigation of the entire matter.

Continuing with his press conferences and accusations, Rahul Gandhi is persistently raising questions about the inactivity of the electoral commission and asking for transparency in the process. The ‘vote theft’ controversy is gaining momentum as Gandhi keeps pushing for answers and accountability from the authorities.
