Luis Suárez Punished in the USA After Spitting on Opponent; Check out the Suspension

Uruguayan striker Luis Suárez was punished on Friday (5) with a six-game suspension in the Leagues Cup for spitting on a Seattle Sounders member, who defeated his team, Inter Miami, in the tournament final played last weekend, the organization reported. The suspension means Suárez, 38, will not participate in the next edition of the competition, which brings together Mexican clubs and Major League Soccer (MLS) teams. However, Suárez may not end up serving the punishment, as his contract with the Florida team expires in December and there is no decision yet on his continuity.
