The French president’s office announced on Saturday that Emmanuel Macron will travel to Egypt on Monday to show support for the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and to discuss the implementation of the upcoming phases. It was not mentioned whether Macron will meet with US President Donald Trump, who may also travel to Egypt and who facilitated the agreement between Israel and Hamas. Macron is expected to travel to Sharm el-Sheikh on the Red Sea for the discussions.
