Mammootty’s ‘Kalamkaval’ release postponed to December; Vatican the reason?

The release date of the film ‘Kalamkaval,’ directed by Jithin K. Jose and starring Mammootty and Vinayakan in central roles, has been pushed to December. The movie was initially set to release on November 27. It will now have a global release on December 5. Produced by Mammootty’s company, Vefar Films, ‘Kalamkaval’ is the seventh film made under the banner. The decision to delay the release was reportedly due to unresolved digital distribution rights issues causing a technical delay. Despite being ready for release, the absence of a final OTT deal prompted the team to reconsider the theatrical release schedule.
