Man Wanted for Allegedly Abducting Son and Taking Him to Ethiopia

Toronto police are currently seeking a man accused of abducting his son and taking him to Ethiopia without the mother’s consent. Modupe Owaseye, 34, reportedly traveled to Ethiopia with his two-year-old son, Emmanuel, on Thursday. Owaseye allegedly left Canada without the mother’s approval. Described as five-foot-seven, 150 pounds, with short brown hair and a clean-shaven face, Owaseye was last seen wearing a grey sweater and black pants. Emmanuel, a two-feet-tall boy, was last seen wearing a black hat, green sweater with white teddy bears, beige pants, and black running shoes. Owaseye is wanted for the abduction of a person under 16.
