Paris 2024 medallists Manu Bhaker and Swapnil Kusale have been chosen to lead India’s 40-member shooting squad at the upcoming ISSF World Championship in Cairo, according to Olympics.com. The championship, set to kick off in Cairo on Thursday, will see 720 shooters from 72 federations competing at the Egypt International Olympic City until November 17. Indian rifle and pistol shooters have had a successful year, securing medals in various World Cup events around the world. Manu Bhaker, a two-time Olympic medallist, will be at the forefront of India’s pistol team, alongside Esha Singh and Suruchi Singh, who have also had strong performances this year.
