Maratha-Kunbi caste dispute leads to serious allegations; significant demand in OBC subcommittee meeting

In today’s meeting of the ministerial subcommittee, once again, I raised some issues. Over the past 25 years, the OBC community has received 2500 crores from the government, while the Maratha society has been given 25,000 crores in the last 3 years.

Mumbai: The ongoing agitation over reservation in the state led to a heated OBC subcommittee meeting on the sidelines of the protests. Following this meeting, OBC leaders and Minister Chhagan Bhujbal played their roles. The government has given 2500 crores to the OBCs over the past 25 years and 25,000 crores to the Maratha community in the last 3 years.
