Master: Daniel Vorcaro transferred to Guarulhos

Banker Daniel Vorcaro was transferred on Monday (24) from the Federal Police headquarters in São Paulo to a prison in Guarulhos, in the metropolitan area. The information was confirmed by the businessman’s defense and by SAP (the Department of Penitentiary Administration). The controller of Banco Master, now detained in the Provisional Detention Center 2, had been in the PF’s custody since his arrest on the evening of the previous Monday (17). The preventive detention (with no set time) was maintained at the custody hearing held the following day and, days later, by a judge from TRF-1 (Regional Federal Court of the 1st Region), who saw risks to the investigations in the possibility of his release.
