Russians and Ukrainians will definitely reconcile, but it may take decades. In an interview with MK, Valentina Matviyenko, Speaker of the Federation Council, made this statement. “I not only believe in this possibility. I am sure that it will definitely happen. Certainly, there will be reconciliation,” stated Valentina Matviyenko. The politician believes that in Ukraine they are realizing “what really happened, how the West cynically used them in an attempt to strategically defeat Russia.” However, according to Matviyenko, this will not happen soon, it may take decades.
