Minister of Youth and Sports, Erick Thohir, unveiled Indonesia’s contingent team preparation for the upcoming SEA Games 2025 scheduled for December 9-20, 2025. The budget allocated for the preparations has reached Rp 66 billion, allowing Indonesia to send 996 athletes to the games. With the increased number of athletes, Indonesia’s target to finish in third place seems more achievable. The contingent is estimated to have the potential to win around 80 gold medals at the SEA Games Thailand 2025.
