Mercedes-Benz has officially introduced the fully electric CLA EV in China, the brand’s first compact car on the new MMA platform. The vehicle is available in two versions, priced between 249 and 285.6 thousand yuan. The electric sedan features an 800-volt architecture, two motor options, and a two-speed transmission. Compared to the European version, the Chinese modification has an extended wheelbase of 2830mm, providing more interior space. The CLA EV delivers up to 200 kW of power, with an impressive range of 866 km on the CLTC. A version with a 165 kW motor will be released later.
