Microsoft and G42 to Expand Data Centre Capacity in the UAE by 200 MW

Microsoft and G42 have revealed plans to expand data centre capacity in the United Arab Emirates by 200 megawatts, marking a significant step in the over $15 billion investment pledge by Microsoft in the Gulf country. The expansion will be implemented through Khazna Data Centers, a division of G42. It is anticipated to become operational before the conclusion of the following year, as disclosed in a joint statement by the two companies, albeit without divulging additional specifics.
