According to a report in the Faro de Vigo newspaper on Saturday, the message contained the words, “Miguel, ¿cómo estás querido?” which were poignant considering the tragic outcome that followed shortly after. Matilde had connections to both Ferrol and Palma de Mallorca, making her death resonate in multiple communities.
