Miguel Oliveira managed to score points at the Indonesian GP by finishing ninth in the sprint race after Italian rider Luca Marini (Honda) was penalized for tire pressure irregularities. Despite being the top Yamaha once again, Oliveira expressed his frustration with the lack of speed: ‘We don’t have the speed to overtake. It’s difficult to make any progress when you lack that extra burst of speed.’ He highlighted the challenge of competitive racing in MotoGP, where the smallest advantage can make a significant difference.
