AC Milan shows interest in signing Fluminense’s Thiago Silva for the next year, according to the Italian newspaper ‘la Repubblica’. The potential transfer is reportedly a request from Milan’s coach, Massimiliano Allegri, who previously worked with Thiago Silva from 2010 to 2012 during their time at Milan. During his initial stint at Milan from 2009 to 2012, Thiago Silva secured three titles, including the Italian league title in 2010/11 and the Italian Super Cup in 2011. At 41 years old, the defender is tied to Fluminense until June 30, 2026. In the current season, he has already participated in 41 matches and scored three goals as Fluminense continues to vie for a Libertadores spot and the Copa do Brasil title.
