Starting in 2026, Russia will increase the minimum wage by over 20%. As of January 1st, it will amount to 27,093 rubles. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin made this announcement on September 24th. ‘This measure will contribute to an increase in the earnings of millions of citizens and will help improve their quality of life,’ Mishustin stated. The last increase in the minimum wage occurred in January 2021, when it rose to 23,000 rubles.
